The Washington Farmers’ club and the Washington Creamery association cordially invite the members of the club, the patrons and stockholders of the creamery and all farmers at the shcoolhouse hall Friday evening, June 6, at 8:15 sharp. A good program has been arranged, including music and speeches. V.R. Jones, dairy manufacturing specialist, will give an illustrated talk. Social hour after the program. Bring the whole family and the hired man. Don’t bring your money as you won’t need it.

Mr. and Mrs. Perley Slack of Randolph Center visited her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Flanders recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Orin Spaulding and family spent a day last week in St. Johnsbury with Mrs. Spaulding’s uncle and wife, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Presby.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bresette, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bresette and son were in Groton Tuesda to attend the funeral of their cousin, Miss Lillian Welch.
Mrs. Victor Duranleau is in charge of the village school hot lunch program which started Dec. 1. The serving of the lunches is sponsored by the Washington Schools Improvement club.
Rct. Leland Spaulding and Rct. Lawrence Gingras have gong to Camp Kilmer, N.J. after spending an 18-day furlough with their parents, and they expect to be sent across.
Mrs. Arthur Sanford is able to be up after suffering a serious fall at her home last Friday.
Ladies’ Aid met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lee Whitney. Ten ladies were present and a quilt was tied. Plans were made for Christmas. Refreshments were served.
Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Worthley and Kathryn spent Sunday in East Randolph at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Savage.
Fred Colby has returned to his home in Reading after spending two weeks with his sister, Mrs. Arthur Sanford and Mr. Sanford.
Edwin Larkin of Chelsea is spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Downing.
John Flanders is at Barre City hospital for a minor operation.
Miss Olive Calef and cousin Jasper Taylor are spending the winter in Orlando, Fla.
