Leon is Leon Snow, Blanche’s husband. Karl is their son. Karl’s son, the next Leon Snow, is a dedicated member of the historical society.

Sun., Jan. 1
Gertie, Blanche and Leon went to the dance last night to the School house Hall.
Tues., Jan. 3
Martin went to Chelsea with Charlie Stanley to the Telephone meeting.
Fri., Jan. 6
Installation of officers of the Odd Fellows tonight. Public so we all went. Carried cake.
Tues., Jan. 17
The East Barre Club played Mr. Bobte (?) a small house tonight.
Wed., Jan. 18
We went to the Whist Club. Not many there. This will be the last one this season.
Fri., Feb. 3
The ice man brought our ice. I paid him 52 cts.
Wed., Feb. 15
Fred Worthley was married today.
Fri., March 3
The Ball Team had their entertainment tonight and a dance. Pretty poor show.

We joined the Rebekahs tonight.

We instituted a Rebekah Lodge here today.
Fri., March 17
Martin went to the town farm. It was sold today to Delmer Carpenter.

We went to a Rebekah meeting tonight. 26 there.

Gene had one doz. of eggs 16 cts.

Clyde McAllister and Sarah Poor were married today.
Sun., June 4
Gertie and Martin and I went ot Montpelier to night in Mr. Carpenter’s auto. Had a fine time.

Fred Downing moved into Gertie’s house today.
Tues., July 18
I am 58 years old today.
Thurs., Aug. 10
Mr. Carpenter came up and took us for a Auto ride. We stopped at Chelsea and took Gertie. We had dinner to the Hartford Hotel. We got stalled in Thetford. Hired an Auto to take us home, paid the man ten dollars. We paid two dollars for our dinner. Mr. Car.. paid two dollars for our supper. We had a good time.

Mrs. Downing paid us Gertie’s rent, $17.00.
Wed., Aug. 23
William Chamberlin was married today to Ivis Richardson of Orange.

Karl is two years old today.
Tues., Oct. 3
Our Fair began today. Pleasant.
Wed. Oct. 4
It is very rainy morning. Rained about all night. Couldn’t have any fair.
Thurs., Oct. 5
Cold day for Fair. Did not have many.
I have not been to the fair, have a head cold.

Had more people today on the ground.

Sherm Chamberlin’s house burned this afternoon.
Tues., Oct. 17
We went over to Sherm’s and helped him set up housekeeping in Oscar Watermans’ old house.

We had our Electric Lights tonight for the first time.

Martin is writing today at home.

It is a terrible windy and snowy day. Some go in sleighs.

Martin is 59 years old today.

Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Bigelow had the Sociable in the Hall.

We have been married 36 years tonight.
Monday, Dec. 25
Christmas tree to the Baptist house tonight. Karl went for the first time. He was a good boy. I gave Lucy Calef a burnt wood box.
