Thank you for visiting the new site of the Washington Historical Society located on Route 110 in Central Vermont. We are a casual group of Washington residents and friends, who meet monthly at the ‘new’ Town Clerk’s office to discuss what our history means to us, and how we can preserve it to best meet the needs of the community.

As I work on this site, please be sure to bookmark it and check on my updates. And please feel free to contact me with any information you’d like to share about Washington.
You can contact the president, (me) Lois Deberville, for information or to share your stories, at ldeberville@aol.com.

Is this Hattie Glidden Chamberlin? I’m assuming so unless I hear otherwise!
